Going to the Dogs

I met some interesting dogs over this past weekend, including these first two: KC & Blue. They belong to a friend of mine, along with a third dog named Sadie, a deaf old cat named Tumbleweed and a parrot she calls Winston. If you've been to my other blog, you've seen her horse, Lucky. Phew! That's a lot of crap to pick up...



















And while we were visiting a state park in Illinois, we ran into Gizmo. She was a little charmer. Gotta be careful not to feed her after midnight, however...

"Going for a Ride"

Quite often, I take Quigley Irwin Wiggly with me, on little rides around the area, usually when I'm running errands. He only gets to go with, if I'm using the old van, as he gets hair all over everything and it's just too hard to clean up after him.

I took him to the post office the other day, and then to McDonald's (he likes a little taste of decaf coffee) and I shot a couple of pictures of him, thru the van window. Usually, he prefers hanging his head outside, but when I tried to take his picture, he got stubborn. So, I shot a few photos anyhow, and sent one in to the local newspaper; he's been in it before. Anyhow, this is the result, in today's edition...
